St Aubyn Foundation supports Growing Links

Founded in 2013, Growing Links in Penzance, is working to establish a local, resilient and sustainable food system. The organisation strives to achieve this through applied permaculture design and ethics, chemical-free horticulture, education and observation. The ambition is to bring communities together to grow, celebrate and eat together; to increase wellbeing, as well as access to locally grown food.

This year the St Aubyn Foundation supported Growing Links with a £2,500 donation. This paid for solar electrics to be installed in the garden kitchen and also in the volunteer hut. This solar energy will generate a saving of approximately £5,000 over the next ten years which will have a huge impact on this vital community group and its work.
